Welcome to the course on whistleblower protection.

An effective whistleblowing system is not a formal requirement—it is a key risk management tool. It enables early identification of issues that could otherwise result in regulatory intervention, reputational damage or financial loss.

The objective of this course is to provide a clear and practical framework for situations where an employee encounters conduct that may be unlawful or in breach of internal rules.

During the course, you will learn:

  • what qualifies as a report under applicable legislation and internal policies
  • how the internal reporting system operates, including procedural steps after a report is submitted
  • principles of protecting the identity of the reporting person and the prohibition of retaliation
  • timelines for acknowledgment, assessment and resolution of reports
  • the role of the designated person and available reporting channels within the company

The course provides practical guidance on how to proceed when a report needs to be made and explains how the process is managed from a compliance and governance perspective.

Completion of the course is recorded as part of the employee’s compliance documentation and includes a final assessment.
